The Baruch College Lock and Security Shop report to the Department of Public Safety. All keys for the doors, desks, and cabinets in Baruch are cut there. It is responsible for the installation and maintenance of every lock on every door in all the buildings that are owned by Baruch.

This shop also maintains the CCTV, card readers, turnstiles, and alarms for the campus.

Staff

Rick Duskiewicz is the Campus Security Specialist and manages the shop.

He has been at Baruch since 1991 and has over 43 years of experience in the lock and security fields. He is licensed by the NYC Department of Consumer Affairs and has the ILA certification of Certified Journeyman Institutional Locksmith.

Marcelo Santander has over 5 years of experience as a locksmith and is also licensed by NYC.
