About Us
The Bursar Office is responsible for the collection of tuition and fees for Baruch College. Functions related to this responsibility are acceptance of payments, deferment billing, and processing of refunds due to overpayments. We are also responsible for maintaining and reconciling student accounts, which includes consultation with students who have questions or concerns.
Services provided by the Bursar Office include:
- Tuition installment plans provided by Nelnet
- Supplying students with the 1098-T IRS tax form
- Serving as the liaison for students with the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (NYSHESC), which administers the Tuition Assistance Program (TAP)
Mission Statement
The mission of the Bursar Office is to maintain the financial records of business functions related to student activity while providing superior customer service and support. One of our goals is to make the student’s interaction with the Bursar Office administrative procedures as seamless as possible. In addition, the Bursar Office has the direct responsibility to collect revenues related to Baruch College’s business operations to meet or exceed our budgetary requirements set forth by the City University of New York.
