Baruch College Faculty and Staff
How to Request Conference Center Space
All Baruch faculty and staff are welcome to reserve space at the Conference Center for their events, conferences and meetings. All requests must be submitted at least ten (10) days prior to the event. To request space at the Conference Center, you must select the Conference Center event type/form which is only accessible via your CourseDog Events account. To get access to Coursedog Events, see the Requesting Access to Coursedog Events webpage.
IMPORTANT: For instructions on submitting a request for space at the Conference Center via CourseDog Events, please see our Visual Guide to Submitting Space at the Conference Center
Next Steps and Important Planning Info:
- After submitting the reservation request via CourseDog, the event organizer will receive a confirmation email from the system.
- Once the reservation is confirmed, the event organizer must email Karolina Novak-Choinska the event/set-up details eight (8) business days prior to the date of the event.
- If you plan to serve any food/beverages/snacks at your event, please work directly with the caterer of your choice. Caterers must provide wait staff for events held in VC 14-220, VC 14-250 and the Rackow Room/Faculty Lounge H750/760. Food and beverage service in these three rooms must be provided by a caterer. Drop off service is not permitted from any vendor. The caterer must provide wait staff from start to the end of the event to handle food service-related tasks. The wait staff is responsible for setting up and monitoring the food stations, bussing the tables and final clean up.
- If you plan to serve alcohol at your event, the caterer must obtain a Special Event Permit from the New York State Liquor Authority. Please note that this permit is different from the liquor license used at the caterer’s establishment. This permit must be visibly displayed on the bar at the event.
- Please contact BCTC Media Services directly for Audio Visual Services
Please note the Conference Center is a venue for meetings and events and not for classes. Please contact the Registrar’s Office for classrooms.
