    Important Fee Information for Students: All enrollment-based student fees are non-refundable once classes begin.

    Full-Time Enrollment: If you are considered full-time at any point on or after the official first day of classes, you will be charged full-time fees.

    Per Summer Session Fees: Students are required to pay instructional fees for each Summer Session they are registered. Students enrolled in multiple summer sessions may be subject to additional fees depending on the combination of sessions.

    • Session II is treated as a separate summer session.
    • If you enroll in Sessions I and III, you are charged one set of fees.
    • If you enroll in Session II and either Session I or III, you are charged an additional set of fees.
    • If your combined Winter + Spring enrollment is 12 or more credits, full-time fees apply.

    Graduate students who must take prerequisites pay undergraduate rates upon presentation of a letter from the appropriate Dean stating that the course is part of the requirement for credit towards graduation.

    All Academic Excellence Fee (AEF) charges are approved by the CUNY Board of Trustees. The most recent resolution can be found at: cuny.edu — Board of Trustees Meetings.

    The May 2025 CUNY BoT AEF resolution approved changing AEF to per credit, year-round, for most Baruch graduate programs. The MS in Mental Health Counseling was not included and continues to be charged per semester (Fall or Spring only).
